Kimono Dining Table

Designer: Brittany Walsh

Fall 2008

Photography: Alan Harp

Developed as a symbolic tribute to the kimono, this dining table for six has numerous features that relate back to its inspiration. The colorful peacock inlay, the sweeping curved legs and the walnut and white oak sash are all representative of kimono design elements. The table is crafted primarily of solid quarter sawn white oak for its beauty and strength, while highlights come from walnut and oak veneers.
