Contemporary Dining Chair

The maple dining chair is designed for manufacture on CNC routers with minimal secondary operations.  The front leg features a unique box joint while the rear slats are secured with hidden mechanical fasteners.  Cherry dowels provide structure and visual interest at the top and bottom of the rear slats.

The Contemporary Dining Chair won Honorable Mention in the 2005 AWFS Student Design Competition: Creative Seating.
