11 students in the AWPL Senior Furniture Design course toured the Lenox Mall Crate&Barrel store as an introduction to the company's products and demographic. C&B is working with the senior students for the second consecutive year on helping the students understand the complexities of designing for a particular customer base. The students will be each designing and building one piece of furniture based on the C&B customer base.

As part of the design process in the senior studio, each student presents to the C&B staff on numerous occasions. The staff helps the student focus their ideas closer to the needs of the customer. Shown above is student Allison Rose (left) presenting her scale models while one of the staff examines the models.
