Students from Alan Harp and Russell Gentry's give the sunshine salute in front of the huge chest of drawers in High Point. The students traveled to High Point to assist the Appalachian Hardwood News in their annual wood usage survey of furniture on display at the market.

Marisa Topping (on right in red) had her winning oak table on display at the High Point Market as part of the New Oak student competition. The competition was held during the spring semester of the 06-07 school year as a promotion for the use of solid oak. Marisa's table won first place in the competition at Georgia Tech.
